(GABF) One of the world’s oldest, continually-brewed styles of beer is the Finnish farm-style sahti. Rich with Nordic tradition, this centuries-old style has overcome many twists and turns throughout its history to remain a prevalent yet ancient style. Sahti is made with barley, wheat, and rye. In addition, juniper branches and berries are woven into the beer for added flavor and bitterness. Finally, everything is fermented with a Scandinavian baker's yeast. Flavors are clean, malty sweet, with a subtle piney/juniper finish. Skol!
