The Dortmunder was a lager made for 19th-century German industrial workers. The beer was known to have high sulfates because of the Dortmund water so Nick tried to imitate this with salt additions. This makes the hop flavor a bit sharper and more pronounced. The body of this brew has a touch more richness and maltier notes than your standard pilsner!
