This traditional pale ale is as American as apple pie! With pale malt as the base we added Munich and Crystal malt for flavor and complexity. A series of hop additions featuring locally grown Nugget and Chinook from Bobst Hops give this beer its undeniable pale ale characteristics. We are located at the corner of 2nd Street and 2nd Avenue in the American heartland, a fitting name for a quintessential blue collar beer.

Art Nouveau is an ornamental form of art that originated in Belgium in the late 1800's. The concept uses sinuous, undulating and asymetrical lines that often incorporate plant stalks, buds or vine tendrils. It's purpose is to give people pleasure in the mundane. In a similar way, this dry hopped Belgian Ale bucks tradition and throws some nuances at you…a basic Belgian Blonde with a perceptive spice character and hopped exclusively with late boil additions of Southern Cross hops from New Zealand.

This Baltic Porter has been patiently aging for two months in one of our fermenters. It was certainly worth the wait, the lager yeast gets out of the way and you will notice a smooth roasted chocolate flavor profile. Be careful with this one, it will sneak up on you! That’s what she said…well what our brewmaster said! ;) This double IPA presents a combination of the traditional hops Bravo and Comet AND modern hops Belma and an experimental variety that very few breweries have even started to use! The hops Belma and YQH 1320 (experimental) contribute fruit and berry aromas while the classic hops offer the resinous and dank backbone. Hence, our brewed version on a Double Entendre!

This Sake yeast beer was a 2 month-long project for both Headbrewer Nick and Assistant Brewer Joel. The two propagated a smaller homebrew yeast pitch to use on a brewhouse scale and used fresh-steamed rice as an ode to traditional Sake production! Overall, this is a Saison fermented with Sake #9 yeast, imparting complex fruity and floral notes. 乾杯 (Cheers!)

We are proud to serve this Pumpkin Ale with a collaboration of local partners. Freshly harvested pumpkins and squash grown locally near Dubuque (thank you Emily and Christopher from Stone Hollow) give this an extra special Autumn flavor. Brew and Brew of Dyersville provided us with some of their excellent cold brewed coffee. This brew is then finished with a custom spice blend to help us enjoy our favorite fall flavors during these cool Autumn afternoons.

Brewed for The Big Soil Health Event's 2023 Farm to Brew Challenge... this International Pale Lager was specially made with regeneratively grown barley from South Dakota (SoilRegen). It's a smooth and easy drinking, yet full-bodied beer with light, toasty notes and a dry finish. The slight citrus and spicy hop aroma (Cluster hops) add some complexity and balance, paying homage to the soil it was grown in.

Born around 1990, Black IPAs have since laid dormant… until now. The name of this new brew is derived from the original French word "revenir," meaning to return from the dead or a long absence. Using a pale malt base with a touch of Iowa-grown rye malts, plus a blend of specialty dark malts, we have brought back to life a brew that was once a viral craze during the craft beer revolution. Featuring Warrior, Chinook, Cascade, and El Dorado hops, this one rings in at 82 IBUs. The roasted malts combined with the bitterness of the hops create the perfect balance!

Textile Summer Sonata

Maibock means "May Beer" in German. Like Iowa, Germany has a short spring and this style is a perfect transition from the dark beers (dopplebock) of winter to the light crisp beers of the summer. As is the tradition, this amber lager was allowed to mature and soften for two months. The result is a beautiful balance of malt, yeast, and hops.

We have created this Belgian Table Beer with a blend of local malted barley and rye from Miller Malting and hopped with French Elixer hops to add a unique compliment to the Belgian yeast character.

The Dortmunder was a lager made for 19th-century German industrial workers. The beer was known to have high sulfates because of the Dortmund water so Nick tried to imitate this with salt additions. This makes the hop flavor a bit sharper and more pronounced. The body of this brew has a touch more richness and maltier notes than your standard pilsner! This fuller body lager includes a blend of traditional German Malts: Pilsner, Vienna and Munich-- and it's hopped with 100% Hallertau Mittelfruh. You will not want to miss this unique brew.
