A big, malty beer with lots of aromas and flavors of dark fruits like plums and raisins. It's on the sweeter side with low bitterness. Barrel aging adds a hint of wood and a strong whiskey component. Codger has been aged for a year before release, and continued aging in a cool, dry place will allow the spirits to meld with the beer.
