After Midnight
Backpocket Brewing  ·  Coralville, IA

Another IPA
Backpocket Brewing  ·  Coralville, IA
Just Another IPA, we don't think so. This unfiltered burnished copper nectar hits the nose hard with heavy tropical fruit notes dominated by passionfruit and undercut with lemon courtesy of Amarillo and Sorachi Ace hops. Another IPA is a full bodied beer with rounded effervescence that tastes strongly of juicy mango interspersed with pungent pine accents and smoothed by semi-sweet caramelly undertones. It ends with a spicy clean bitterness that lingers long after the last sip.

Centripetal Force
Backpocket Brewing  ·  Coralville, IA
A collaboration beer with Big Grove, Lion Bridge, and SingleSpeed. An Iowa-Belgian Ale that is rouge to pink in color. A slight bubblegum aroma opens it up, leading to more earthy and herbal flower. Some hops come through the smell but can be translated as spice. Bubblegum, floral hibiscus, rose hip, and citrus flavors all battle to be number one. The beer cleans out quickly with the hops finally making an appearance at the end to clean out the back of the throat.

Churchill's Best
Backpocket Brewing  ·  Coralville, IA
The rocky beige head on this beauty harmonizes with aromas of mint, toasted bread, and caramel. The flavor starts with a sweet caramel that lasts all the way to the back of the throat. Earthy and herbal hops appear in the middle of the sip but are clearly playing second fiddle in this symphony. A slight hop bitterness helps clean the palate but there is still a noticeable lingering sweetness. This beer wears many hats, much like Sir Churchill himself.

Pours jet black with a full brown head on top. The aroma carries hints of figs, toffee, and coffee and follows with a background of smoke to conceal the contents. The first sip invades your mouth with flavors of dates, figs, raisins, and other dried fruit. As the initial flavors subside, the earthy and smoky notes carry through allowing the swallow to taste of sweetness which lingers in the back of the throat while the body fades due to the dark malt, which only helps to form a seamless transiti

Backpocket Brewing  ·  Coralville, IA
This beer pours with a ruby/orange color blend that gives-off hints of produce. Made with local field beets, carrots, and squash, it only makes sense that the aroma opens with those vegetables subtly. Hidden underneath is slight pepper as well as the grape aroma of a dry chardonnay. The first sip unveils the earthy beet flavor mixed with clean sweet remnants of American sparkling wine. Lingering sweetness is noticeable but not off-putting, which fades away slowly. Forget about the heavily advert

Ziegengott
Backpocket Brewing  ·  Coralville, IA
A modification of the original Stone City (Solon brewer) Ahhh bock, the Dopple Ahhh cranks up the ABV and flavor a notch. A very smooth malt nose is the first thing to grab your attention. The body is full and rounded with some clear molasses notes. Note: This beer pairs well with a red hot poker, caramelizing the sugars creating some great toasted flavors.
