Brothers Chris and Wes Johnson, third generation entertainers with a gospel pedigree, lead this seasoned ensemble and take their audience on a guided tour, a travelogue of musical styles set in exotic locations. Nods to earlier eras are welcome like promised acid flashbacks set to a disco beat. Marco Heeter(The Skeeters, Phester), Marlon Young (Moonburn,The Interstellers), Bryan Askew (The Situationals), Mary Massie (Mary Massie Band), and Jen Hatley. Special guest and family friend David Shealy (Walking Outside, George Hatcher Band, Mudlick) fills out the stage for the night.
Party Battleship
Party Battleship claims to be 100 years old, for that is the sum of years of music experience amongst the quartet of Shalini Morris (Shalini, Vinyl Devotion), John Morris (Electrolux, Come on Thunderchild), Donnie Merritt (Tyre Fyre), and Adam Roth (Bellglide, Catch Fire, Mark Crozer and The Rels).
Mary Massie Band
A gifted songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Mary Massie was born in West Virginia, and is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. A background in visual art and theater informs her music. A member of Hardcore Lounge since 2003, she began writing songs in 2014 culminating in her own side project in 2018.
