The Elected Officials are an American Anarcho punk band from Austin, Texas and Santa Fe New Mexico.The band’s lyrics include corporate funded politics, biased news, the cold war in Pakistan, International political prisoners, religious war and others. The band’s vocalist owned a punk bar in Chiang Mai, Thailand from 2000 to 2004 called Chaos City which helped spawn the vibrant punk scene Thailand has today.

The Elected Officials includes former members of Systema Nervioso, 32 Fingers, Atomic Influx, Bootleg, Our Mother of Sorrow, Courtesy Flush, Punks on Parade and others. The Elected Officials delivers ripping punk rock reminiscent of The Dead Kennedys, Bikini Kill, DOA, and DRI. With lyrics about corporate money in politics, big box stores, religious pundits of oppression and other modern woes the Elected Officials is truly a Political Punk rock band for our modern times.
