Growing up & Hailing from Minnesota, Savy is no stranger to DJing, Turntablism, & world class music and Hip-Hop. Starting at the age of Sixteen, Savy began collecting & playing vinyl records at High School basement parties, local community events, and even learned how to produce on an MPC 2000. After graduating from Hopkins High School in 2008, Savy attended the University of Kansas (KU) where his party rocking career as a DJ really took off. While attending KU and living in Lawrence, KS Savy immediately began receiving residencies at some of the largest and most popular clubs and venues in the area. In 2013, Savy placed top 3 at the local Red Bull Threestyl3 U DJ competition and began to spin frequently at many Redbull sponsored events in the Kansas City metro. In 2015, Savy moved to Kansas City (KC) while primarily DJing at the Power & Light Block amongst other KC venues. Today, Savy remains a true DJ by continuing to collect and play vinyl, practicing daily to advance his turntable and mixing skills, & Party Rocking at the largest Cities in the region such as Chicago, Minneapolis, Aspen, & Kansas City.
