The Dead Yellers formed in 2011, with the ostentatious goal of finding a good excuse to smoke cigarettes and drink whiskey, and have been doing just that ever since. Relying on songwriting and simplicity rather than a love of NASCAR and Jesus, the band has carved out that difficult niche in the country scene with the conspicuous and stunning lack of a Johnny Cash or Waylon cover on their debut album, leading many critics to the conclusion that this must not be country at all. #BozemanTaproom Downtown Bozeman
